Improvisology
Improvisology consists of three 25-minute workshops per month, focused on jazz improvisation:
In Peer Review, we’ll look at licks from iconic jazz solos, take them apart, and see what makes them tick.
In Getting Technical, we’ll see how scales, arpeggios, rhythm, and articulation can be made into music.
In Fine-Tuning, we’ll use songs from the standard jazz repertoire to learn about melody, harmony, and improvisation.
